This Project is purely started on non-profit in order to save our earth and make it green everywhere. Our vision is to inspire people to plant trees, develop a culture of care towards the environment and make them realize their inevitable dependency on nature.
To inspire people to plant trees, develop a culture of care towards the environment and make them realize their inevitable dependency on nature.
By saving trees we can save the world from global warming situations. Save Trees is about to saving your lives, saving environment, saving animals and also we can say that Saving Earth. Every nation is in run of the development for that just somewhat not taking care of trees. If you go for planting trees and it will also great help by caring it.
Our Vision is to increase the green cover of Tamil Nadu by 10% in order to reverse desertification, reduce soil erosion, restore self-sufficiency, recreate sustainability and survive climate change. Through education, mass people participation, agro-forestry initiatives and most importantly community participation, we aim to provide the necessary inspiration and support to for planting 114 million trees in the shortest span possible.
We have met lot of people regarding this project on spreading the awareness on planting trees. Told them the importance of it. We set a milestone for Objective of this project to get implemented everywhere across the globe. We planted around lakhs samplings a year and it continues. We deliberately convey, the motive of this project is not to gain the people attention. We need this earth, Our motherland to be saved from deforestation.
"A man has made at least a start on discovering the meaning of human life when he plants shade trees under which he knows full well he will never sit."
- Elton Trueblood.
Trees give out oxygen. even because of them we have the rains. in short they maintain the ecological balance. If we would cut trees what is going to happen is that population won't stop growing but oxygen in the atmosphere will reduce. Another effect can be scarcity of food. and many other problems are attached to it such as less of rains will result in less water for irrigation. Less water for irrigation would result in less harvest which would again lead to less food and if this continues to happen for a long period of time then it might lead to famine type situations.
Trees have to breathe to live, same as us and every living thing on the planet. They breathe in carbon dioxide and breathe out oxygen. We breathe out carbon dioxide and breathe in oxygen. We've evolved around trees; they are the main things that give off oxygen. Without trees, we're not here. Cutting down trees takes away that oxygen. If you cut down a tree but plant two new ones that is fine. Trees are living things too.
"What we are doing to the forests of the world is but a mirror reflection of what we are doing to ourselves and to one another."
- Mahatma Gandhi.
To create 'green consciousness' and build pride in the younger generation for being actors of environmental conservation by giving them due recognition of their participation. Through education, mass people participation, agro-forestry initiatives and most importantly community participation, we aim to provide the necessary inspiration and support to for planting 114 million trees in the shortest span possible.
Global Warming on Humans
The impact of increased surface temperatures is significant in itself. But global warming will have additional, far-reaching effects on the planet. Warming modifies rainfall patterns, amplifies coastal erosion, lengthens the growing season in some regions, melts ice caps and glaciers, and alters the ranges of some infectious diseases. Some of these changes are already occurring. For most places, global warming will result in more frequent hot days and fewer cool days, with the greatest warming occurring over land. Longer, more intense heat waves will become more common. Storms, floods, and droughts will generally be more severe as precipitation patterns change. Hurricanes may increase in intensity due to warmer ocean surface temperatures. Rising Sea Levels : The weather isn't the only thing global warming will impact: rising sea levels will erode coasts and cause more frequent coastal flooding. Some island nations will disappear. The problem is serious because up to 10 percent of the world's population lives in vulnerable areas less than 10 meters (about 30 feet) above sea level.
We the crew of 23 people work super hard to save this earth from wood merchants. We struggle for avoiding the lumbering activities. We strongly believe just giving a lesson about Deforestation in academics doesnt going to change anything. Rather we get in to the field and support farmers. So we provide free saplings for farmers and people who are really interested to save this earth. We conduct discussions/ debates and conferance on importance of agriculture and invite people who got success in doing agriculture and share their views. Our team visits several house individually and plant trees for them in case of their unavailablity to do that. Our team implements rain water harvesting system on every houses.
Impact of global warming
The changes to weather and ecosystems will also affect people more directly. Hardest hit will be those living in low-lying coastal areas, and residents of poorer countries who do not have the resources to adapt to changes in temperature extremes and water resources. As tropical temperature zones expand, the reach of some infectious diseases, such as malaria, will change. More intense rains and hurricanes and rising sea levels will lead to more severe flooding and potential loss of property and life.
Establishing a nursery for producing sapling within the premises of a company is a big way in which a Corporate could contribute for greening the environment. Project GreenEarth wish to encourage such corporate companies with technical guidance and support for raising saplings. For developing a nursery, 5 elements are needed Seeds, Covers, Land & Water and Labour. Seeds and Cover will be provided by Project GreenEarth. The corporate company has the land and water required to raise saplings. Corporate nurseries created in partnerships with business organisations that commit to growing hundreds of thousands of saplings every year, before handing them over to government for distribution.
Let us take this formation of rain in steps
Step 1 : Water is evaporated and turn into Water Vapors.
Step 2 : Water Vapors starts to rise up because of any reason e.g wind blowing over mountains and starts to rise, due to warm air rising etc.
Step 3 : When these Water Vapors starts to rise, their temperature drops and then the process of condensation starts i.e. water again turns from gaseous state to liquid state.
Step 4 : The size of the Water drops continue to increase due to continuous condensation, and when the water drop is big enough that its weight become heavier then the air, so it drops down in the form of rain
Agriculture plays a crucial role in the life of an economy. It is the backbone of our economic system. Agriculture not only provides food and raw material but also employment opportunities to a very large proportion of population. The following facts clearly highlight the importance of agriculture in this country.
What if no agriculture?
We would go back to a hunting/gatherer society as we were thousands of years ago. All vegetarian / vegans would die first, followed by everyone else because there wouldn't be enough food to support the world population with a hunter/gatherer society. Especially considering the fact that we feed our cows things like corn which we grow ourselves.
Come let us speak about importance of plants to various people.
